Information for your holiday at Gradonna ****s Mountain Resort
We offer a weekly active & outdoor programme with guided tours, yoga, fitness, special infusions and much more.
All rooms and chalets have allergy-friendly pillows and blankets.
Our kitchen team is happy to cater for the following dietary requirements:
- Vegan | gluten intolerance | lactose intolerance | intolerance to individual foods (e.g. hazelnut or tomato or seafood) - cross-allergies are excluded
Please contact us before booking or making a reservation. In the case of allergies, such as histamine allergy, cross-allergies or combined intolerances, we ask for your understanding that we cannot give a blanket confirmation in advance. However, we will be happy to consult with our kitchen team, stating which products you can tolerate.
On the day of arrival, the rooms, suites and chalets are available from 3.00 pm or from 4.00 pm in summer.
Please fill in your registration form at reception.
On the day of departure, we ask you to vacate the rooms, suites and chalets by 10.30 am.
As soon as your suitcases are packed, our luggage service will be happy to help you - please let reception know if you would like help with your luggage (DW 700).
Please hand in your room card in person at reception.
Please understand that in the event of late arrival or early departure, the Austrian Hotel Regulations will apply.

Information on the surgery hours of the doctors in private practice, the pharmacies in Huben and Matrei and the hospital in Lienz is available at reception.
The resort grounds are car-free. One underground car park is available per hotel room and chalet (for more information, see Parking/garage). On arrival and departure, the hotel will transport your luggage to the chalet (make an appointment for the day of departure at reception).
The fluffy hotel bathrobes and a bathing bag are in your room or chalet. They are at your disposal for the duration of your stay (bathrobes and bath bag are available as new items in the hotel shop for you to take home). We also provide you with your personalised Loden slippers in your room, which you can take home with you and purchase more in the hotel shop. If you would like a change of bathrobes, please contact the spa reception.
The hotel bar and the afternoon snack are only possible with a bathrobe in the designated area.
Bath towels and towels for the sauna and swimming pool are available directly from the Gradonna ****s Mountain Spa.
The nearest train station is in Lienz (33 km away).
Shuttle service: We are happy to organise a free transfer to the train station for you if you book in advance (at least 2 days) (possible waiting times).
Alternatively, you can travel by train to Mittersill (64 km away).

Careful and solid training and the many years of experience of the Kalser mountain guidesin alpine terrain guarantee unforgettable mountain experiences.
On the 3rd floor there is a small, fine library where you can find reading material to browse through on holiday. Magazines and current newspapers are available in the delicatessen.
A bouldering room and a climbing wall (next to Alpinsport Gratz) are available to our guests free of charge. Access to the bouldering room is available at reception (children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult).

Crockery:
The chalet is equipped with crockery, cutlery, pots and glasses for 8 people as well as high-quality electrical appliances. We will be happy to help you if you have any questions about using the appliances.
Infrared:
The use of the infrared cabins in the chalets is free of charge.
Fireplace:
On arrival you will find a wood pack with kindling for a cosy open fire in the fireplace. Further heating packs are available in the delicatessen shop.
Repairs:
If a repair is necessary, please note this on the repair note or contact reception directly (DW 700)
- You will find charging stations for your electric car in the underground car park. You will receive a chip at reception to activate the charging facility. We charge € 0.50 per kWH for the charged energy
Whether it's a souvenir to take home, a drink for the journey, regional products or daily newspapers. The delicatessen in the house offers a wide range of food, regional specialities, souvenirs and everyday items such as toiletries and much more.

The nearest airports are in Klagenfurt (185 km away), Salzburg (166 km away) and Innsbruck (183 km away). Further information is available at reception.
At reception, in the morning post at the breakfast table and on the TV in your room, you will receive information about the current Gradonna weekly programme with events, activities, tastings, menu selection, weather forecast and much more.
Whether it's a new hairstyle, colour or a pleasant head wash - we will pamper you and your hair in the hotel's own hairdressing salon. Arrange your appointment in good time at the Mountain Spa reception.

Our professionally trained Mountain Spa team will be happy to advise you on beauty applications, treatments and massages. Book your desired appointment for facial and body care in good time (Spa Reception DW 707).
The wellness area is an absolute relaxation and quiet zone. We ask you to respect this and to avoid loud conversations as well as ringing doorbells and computer sounds. Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to enter.
Do you have a voucher with you? Please hand it in at reception on arrival so that we can take your voucher into account immediately.
Would you like to surprise your loved ones with a voucher? Reception will be happy to advise you.
The main entrance door at reception is closed from 22:00 to 07:00. Use the night entrance in the underground car park (with room card).
We charge a cleaning fee per day for your dog (see hotel and chalet information ). For reasons of hygiene, four-legged friends are not allowed in the wellness & spa area or in the restaurants.
Please remember to take dog bags with you on walks and dispose of them appropriately if necessary. There are two dog stations with dog bags in the resort. If you need additional items such as food bowls, dog towels etc., we will be happy to help you.
Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel and in the chalets (confirm terms of use - no password required).
A deposit for the chalet (€ 300.00) is due on arrival and should be paid in cash at reception. This will be returned to you if the chalet including inventory is left in good order. Please make an appointment at reception before departure.
For our younger guests, we offer all the necessary facilities such as a cot, changing mat, baby monitor, high chair, children's playroom, children's menu and much more.
In our light-flooded, sunny children's club, the kids feel completely at ease. In the forest playground, they can have fun in and with nature. Our kindergarten staff ensure that there is no time for boredom with great programmes (from 3 years).
In winter, there is a practice lift (magic carpet) right next to the hotel for the first turns of the piste fleas.

Your appearance contributes significantly to the stylish ambience of our hotel. We appreciate appropriate, discreet clothing in order to maintain the flair of the hotel and request that you do not wear jogging suits, ski clothing, slippers, bathrobes etc. in the restaurant and dining area. Bathrobes may only be worn in the day bar in the designated area.
Please book your desired appointment for beauty treatments, treatments and massages in good time at the Mountain Spa reception, preferably before you arrive. Our highly trained Mountain Spa team will be happy to advise you.

In the public areas of the resort, works of art by various local artists repeatedly catch the eye.

Each floor is easily accessible by lift. For security reasons, the lifts only work after midnight with a valid room card (hold the card in front of the reader and select the floor). The tower lift also only works during the day with authorised room cards for the tower rooms.
In your bathroom you will find dispensers with soap and shampoo from our high-quality natural cosmetics line "MAGDALENA's made in Tyrol"are at your disposal.
We heat completely CO2-neutral with our own 1,500 kW bio heating system (wood chips).
The night entrance is located at the hotel entrance in the underground car park - you open the door with your key card (reader to the left of the entrance). The main entrance is open from 07.00 to 22.00.

Please park your car in the underground car park - one free parking space is available per room or chalet (free choice of spaces). The barrier opens with your room card. The barrier opens automatically when you leave the car park.
The chalet grounds are car-free. On arrival and departure, the hotel will transport your luggage to the chalet (make an appointment for the day of departure at reception).
An ashtray is available on the balcony of your room and in designated areas.
Smoking is prohibited in the chalets - you can smoke on the terrace of your chalet (use ashtrays & do not dispose of stubs in the grounds).
Umbrellas are available for hire at reception.
You can pay your consumption cashless using your chalet or room card. You can view your bill on the television at any time.

During the summer months, you can borrow a Gradonna rucksack from your room for free use during your stay. You can buy the rucksack as a souvenir in the delicatessen shop.
There is a safe in every room and chalet to store your valuables. You are also welcome to leave them at reception.
You will find shoe shine machines in the basement by the night entrance and by the lift on the 3rd and 4th floors.
Our hotel offers a professional and comprehensive range of services for successful conferences, seminars and incentives, as well as fantastic surroundings. Your seminar participants can expect flexible seminar rooms, top equipment, an attractive supporting programme and 4-star superior comfort and service.
The free summit ticket gives our guests free access to the open summer mountain lifts in the surrounding area. Valid during opening hours at the following cable cars:

The specialist sports shop Alpinsport Gratz is located directly in the hotel and offers professional and comprehensive advice and an excellently stocked sports shop as well as sports equipment and clothing for your outdoor experience in Kals am Großglockner for hire (ski hire, mountain bike hire, e-bike hire, etc.).

Throughout the Gradonna ****s Mountain Resort, you can enjoy crystal-clear, fresh and naturally pure mountain spring water from the Gradonna's own spring, which originates from the rock of the Blauspitz. You can safely drink the water from the tap - even the shower water is drinking water.
Tip: Fill the water carafe with stone pine stopper in your room and enjoy the marvellous mountain spring water.
Part of the hotel complex is under video surveillance for security reasons, including the underground car park, reception and swimming pool.
In the interests of the environment, we only change our hotel guests' towels and bed linen if the guest requests it or if they are very dirty. If you would like fresh bed linen, please place the existing card on the bed. Please place towels on the floor for changing.
Information on changing the linen in the chalet:
The final cleaning of your chalet is included in the price of the overnight stay. Your chalet will not be cleaned during your stay. You can order additional cleaning at reception for a fee (DW 700) - information on prices is available at reception or in your chalet folder.
You can set a wake-up call via the telephone - or you can contact the reception team by dialling 700.
Over 300 different wines - mostly from Austria - including real rarities and treasures are stored in our wine cellar, where we also offer wine and schnapps tastings. For more information, please contact our service staff directly.
